Water Moon Howling (lyrics)
Interstellar flame the breaths we exchange/
Sola below lung flutter lost love hung of a/
Long gem stoned lobe, the Bodhi’s son/1
The roads we’ve run, miles a blazed with blame/
To stun. The shooting stars, phenomenal, I’m/
missing mars my wish. A Mario Whining,/2
bathroom cracked cries, on a Weak End singing/
‘I don’t wanna know …’ why?/ (if you played me …)
Gazing with lips, partially parted dearly, probably/
Panting wearily. The Breath, in taking/
The amazement of here in you crime history ain’t/
As thrilling, but I’m fronting like ‘I’m chillin’ I’m cool’/
Cause below the blue shades is a boy hurtin’/
way before all of you I crave to be more to you/
But here I am, on pale blue dot/3
smaller than interstellar dust are love just might …/
These lyrics were inspired by
poem challenge. The story in these lyrics is of a werewolf demigod, maybe a werewolf, who is in love with a moon goddess. In other words, a nerd crushing on someone who is out of his out of his league. Of course, there is something comedic here too. So, read it and listen to it with some fun in mind. The other layer, a bit deeper, is for my seekers. It is, ego grasping at the reflection of the Water Moon Form, Avalokiteshvara (Guanyin). As for the beat, I took it from an intro of Mr. Winans’ “I Got You Babe” and chopped it up. You’ll hear some breaths in there that add to the neediness and sort of helpless vibe of the track. I like the beat a lot, and though the synths played on the word interstellar well.#artstackpoets

Buddha had stretched ear lobs, and sounds close to lobo, Spanish for wolf. Craving and awaking, a theme I like to play with. The romance of seeking awakening.
Reference to Mario Winans’ “I Don’t Want To Know,” also, Super Mario. I’ve been watching a lot of Super Mario, the animated version by Illumination. The following line is also a reference to the MetroBoomin and Weeknd remake of “I Don’t Wanna Know (Creepin’).”
Carl Sagan's book, and poem, Pale Blue Dot.

So good. Wish it were longer!
